Flour Mix for Traditional Cake

Only some vegetable oil or margarine and water needed additionally.

FEEL FREE TO EXPERIMENT

Stir in few pieces of dried fruits, fresh lemon or some finely cut chocolate. Sprinkle some powdered sugar, top with icing, or decorate with some fresh berries.

Preparation

400 g of flour mix + 180 ml of water + 100 ml of oil or dissolved margarine

  1. Pour the contents of the package into a bowl, add 180 ml of water and 100 ml of either oil or creamed butter/margarine.
  2. Mix thoroughly to make a solid mass and put the dough into a greased baking form.
  3. Bake in an oven at 180-200ºC for about 50-60 minutes. To check if the cake is ready, insert a wooden stick (if the stick comes out clean, then ready).
  4. When the cake is ready, let it cool in the form for about an hour.
  5. Serve the cooled cake dusted with powdered sugar or decorated with white icing.
